This gorgeous lady came in and slayed a Boudie shoot earlier this month. Not only was she super sweet (SHE BROUGHT PREZZIES for me and Angela) and a blast to work with- but she had THE MOST AMAZING SHOES I'VE EVER SEEN. I'm not a shoe chick. I seriously lived in converse all-stars until I got plantar fasciitis like an actual grown-up. Barf. All this to say- I typically don't care about shoes... but then Yumi showed me the shoes she brought and I swear to you- the air filled with angels singing and fireworks went off in the background. They were that dope. And so was Yumi. Not everyone could rock these shoes. And this chick KILLED IT.

I asked Yumi to share a bit about her experience...

What are your day-to-day roles? (in life, family, jobs, etc?)

-my life isn’t that exciting. I go to work, am currently a student and dog and cat to look after with my partner.

Why did you want to do a boudoir shoot?

- I’d always heard about how it can be helpful for your confidence, and I wanted to do something way out of my comfort zone. I also wanted to surprise my partner!

How did you feel before your shoot?

- Nervous and excited because I had NO IDEA what to expect.

How did you feel after?

- EXCITED! It was one of those “I can’t believe I just did that/I can’t believe it was that easy and enjoyable” moments.

Would you recommend this to other women/why?

- this is 100% a confidence booster and there is no better validation than that of yourself. There’s also something really nice and enjoyable about working with women in an uplifting and supportive setting celebrating you!

If you'd like to get in for a Boudie shoot of your own- we've got May dates coming up!! Soon to be announced. Drop me a line at if you want to secure your own session. :)
